Your music stays with you
Audio files you add are processed only inside your browser. They are never sent to our servers. If you use Google Drive or Dropbox, your browser downloads the files you pick directly from that provider, using permission you grant to that provider. For Google Drive we request access only to files you select (the drive.file permission). We never see your cloud storage password.
What we do collect
- Purchases: Paddle.com processes payments as merchant of record and shares with us your email address, country, order and subscription details. We store your email, Paddle customer and subscription IDs, licence key, plan and credit balance to provide your purchase. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- Sign-in and purchase emails: when you buy or sign in, we email you at the address you used at checkout (a receipt, or a one-time sign-in code). We keep a scrambled (hashed) copy of each code for up to 2 days to check it and to limit abuse. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- Launch list: if you ask to be told when paid plans open, we store your email, the date you confirmed, and which link brought you, and send you one launch email. Confirm by clicking the link we email you; unsubscribe with the link in any email. Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 7 days. Legal basis: your consent.
- Anonymous usage counts: we count how many browser sessions reach each step (for example visiting, adding songs, opening pricing) per day and by referring site or campaign link. No cookies are used and nothing identifies you. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- Export checks: when you make a paid export, we record your licence key, a one-way fingerprint of the mix (not its audio or song names), its length and the time, to apply your plan and prevent abuse. Legal basis: contract and legitimate interests.
- Security logs: our hosting provider Cloudflare processes IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from attacks and overload. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
Stored on your device
So your setlist is still there next time, the songs you add, their analysis and your mix settings are saved in your browser's own storage on your device. They are never sent to us. Remove them at any time with Clear setlist, or by clearing this site's data in your browser. We also store your licence key and your acceptance of our terms in your browser's local storage. These are strictly necessary for the service. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. To understand how the site is used, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.
Processors
Paddle.com (payments), Cloudflare (hosting, security and forwarding of emails sent to our support address), Resend (sending receipts and sign-in codes, EU region). Some may process data outside the EEA under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Retention
Purchase records are kept as long as your licence is active and then for the period required by tax law. Export check records are deleted after 90 days.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing by contacting us. You can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
